  • How to Get Every Form

Furfrou isnโ€™t the strongest Normal-type in Pokemon Go, but thanks to its many trim forms, itโ€™s one of the most unique pocket monsters. The only one that comes close is Eevee, but those count as evolutions, not just physical changes. Furfrou’s standard form looks charming enough. If you swap out the trims, you can enjoy Furfrou with different, more elegant styles. It almost looks like a pampered poodle. But getting every Furfrou form is impossible unless you somehow trade or use third-party services to change your region. This is because Furfrou’s stylish looks are region-locked.

Along with its base form, Furfrou has 10 trims you can appreciate in Pokemon Go:

  • Natural
  • Matron
  • Dandy
  • Debutante
  • Diamond
  • Star
  • La Reine
  • Kabuki
  • Pharaoh
  • Heart

The forms are wildly different in terms of design. There are a variety of colors from blues to pinks. Some have amazing hats while others boast incredibly chic puff designs. However, the trims are purely cosmetic as there are no other benefits from changing Furfrou. Seeing as this prim and proper pocket monster lacks any evolutionary line, switching out the trims is the most fun you can have with its appearance.

How to Get Every Form

The Heart Trim may be worldwide, but it is the only Furfrou form no one can currently get in Pokemon Go. That’s because it’s event-exclusive. It showed up for a Valentine’s Day event, but it’s been off the market ever since that concluded. There’s no word on whether the form will make a return.

Even so, the other nine trims are up for grabs depending on where you live:

To get your Furfrou form in Pokemon Go, select your pocket monster and instead of โ€œEvolve,โ€ youโ€™ll see โ€œChange Form.โ€ It will cost you 10,000 Stardust and 25 Furfrou Candy.

Itโ€™ll cost this much each time you want to change form, so be sure youโ€™re getting what you want. If you ever want the other forms, youโ€™ll have to trade. But of course, that requires getting someone from those regions with a certain Furfrou design to come close enough to your location for trading. Not impossible, but itโ€™s not common. At least each trim has its own quirks that make acquiring any worth the resources.
