How to Walk up Sand Dunes in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
To walk up Sand Dunes in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, players must unlock the Scree Walking skill. To unlock this skill, first, you have to start the Hero Quest known as Going Beyond Power. This quest can only be accessed in Chapter 3 or further. Also, you must be at least level 25. Otherwise, the quest will be very hard for you.
In the North of Gura Flava Camp and Southwest of Loch Ciel in the Aeita Region, you can see a question mark on the map. Head to this spot and then talk to an NPC named Kyrie. Once you meet with Kyrie, you will be led to Colony Gamma. Then simply follow the tasks of the quest, which eventually leads to the player leaving the village with someone named Teach.
After you follow Teach, there will be a point where Teach will show you how to climb up steep sand dunes. After that, your character has successfully learned the Scree Walking Travesral Skill that you can use to walk up Sand Dunes.
