EA Games’ Star Wars Battlefront has its share of criticism, butย some users have modified the game to make it more visually appearing.
YouTube user jackfrags uploaded a video ofย Star Wars Battlefrontย in glorious 4K resolution at 60 fps.

Dubbed the “real life mod,” the video shows actual gameplay using a mod called SweetFX, which is a freeย โshader injection modโ that adds a multitude ofย post-processing shader effects in games that don’t naturally have those graphic settings. SweetFX also allows users to adjust several aspects that fall under the shader effect category including color and contrast management, aliasing, anti-aliasing, and sharpening. The mod doesn’t do anything to change the game’s assets, and it doesn’t permanently alter system files.
But don’t expect SweetFX to work if you have a computer that’s not capable of showing realistic graphics. There are only a few GPUs that are capable of handling 4K resolution at silky-smooth 60 fps, let alone handling any sort of 4K resolution whatsoever. Some users have recommended video games like the GeForce GFX Titan X video card to runย Star Wars Battlefront, which is already a graphics-intensive game, on 4K.
This is not the first time people have seenย Star Wars Battlefront looking this nice. Late November, screenshots from the game were released, usingย modderย Martin Bergman’s Toddyhancer mod. But the game’s performance reportedly dipped to “around 30-40” fps.
Star Wars Battlefront is currently available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and
