Saints Row How to Get the Piñata Launcher
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Piñata Launcher is a Big Gun in Saints Row that fires a piñata that lures NPCs before exploding in a destructive blast of lethal confetti. Naturally, the Fire Rate of this weapon is relatively low, but its high Damage and moderate Radius make it an excellent choice for taking out large groups of enemies with a bang. Furthermore, if Saints Row fans manage to achieve 20 multi-kills with the Piñata Launcher, they will unlock Sssnakesss!, the launcher’s Signature Ability that spawns aggressive snakes after the explosion. These snakes will then pursue nearby enemies and attack them for bonus damage.

Unlocking the Piñata Launcher in Saints Row

This Big Gun is a “blast” to use, but it only becomes available during the game’s late stages. To unlock the Piñata Launcher in Saints Row, players must participate in the Tier-4 Criminal Venture “Let’s Pretend.” To establish this venture, fans will need $1.6 million, a massive sum of Cash that early to mid-game Bosses likely will not have.

Thanks to footage provided by YouTube content creator PowerPyx, Saints Row fans can learn how to unlock the Piñata Launcher. For further clarification, follow the steps below:

Step No.  Walkthrough Details
1
  • To get started, head purchase the “Let’s Pretend” Criminal Venture for $1.6 million.
  • This venture’s location can be found in a lot west of the El Dorado Fast Travel Point and north of the Go Kart Go! Clothing.
2
  • Enter the venture’s building and complete a total of eleven missions to complete the Criminal Venture.
  • This process should take players around 40 minutes to an hour if they attempt all of the missions in one sitting.
3
  • Once all the missions of the Criminal Venture has been completed, Saints Row players will be rewarded with a Space Suit, Let’s Pretend Crew Outfits, and the Piñata Launcher Launcher.

An excellent weapon skin to pair with the Piñata Launcher is the Piñata Stick, which serves as a cosmetic for the Crowbar. To unlock this cosmetic, players must travel to the @tcha Side Hustle in Marina West, located slightly west of the #Trending Clothing Store. After arrival, head to the @tcha sign in front of the establishment and give it a 1-star rating. Members from the Los Ponteros faction will appear and attack the Boss protagonist. After fending out several hostiles, Saints Row players will receive XP, Cash, and the Piñata Stick skin for their efforts.
