Have you ever wonder what happened to Daniel Stern, the actor who played Marv, the more likable of the two ‘wet bandits’ from Home Alone?

Home Alone is a classic Christmas movie that becomes darker and more disturbing the older you get. The classic tale of an eight-year-old boy who fends off home invaders after being left behind by his family has disturbing implications when you stop and think about it. Macaulay Culkin sent the internet into a flurry of excitement when he starred in an online short film showing us how Kevin turned out. It turns out going through a trauma like that at age eight can leave a kid… disturbed.

And now, the actor, who portrayed Marv in Home Alone, Daniel Stern, has released his own video as a follow-up, reminding us that Kevin wasn’t the only one who suffered that Christmas.

That is kind of dark, to say the least…

In less grim news, in the lead up to Christmas, Stern did a countdown of his favorite parts of filming Home Alone 1 & 2 on his Facebook page and one of the highlights included:

“I’ve talked about the stunt guys doing crazy things, I’ve talked about my love of doing physical comedy, but one of the most surreal moments of the film was the scene with the tarantula crawling across my face. People who meet me are always curious if the tarantula was real, if my scream was real, and if I was scared, crazy or both. The answer to all three of those questions is “Yes.”

Which of Home Alone bad guy was your favorite?  Is this movie on your must-see Christmas movie list each year?
