Khloe Kardashian has opened up about undergoing surgery to remove a tumor on her face. The 38-year-old The Kardashians star posted a series of messages on her Instagram story.
Kardashian revealed that she has been seeing different made-up stories about “the ever-evolving bandage” on her face and thought to clear them up.
In messages shared, the fashion entrepreneur revealed that she had noticed a small bump on her face. The mom-of-two had assumed “It was something minor as a zit.” However she posted a photo of the bump she thought was just a zit. Seven months after realizing the bump was not disappearing, she then decided to get it biopsied.
Kardashian explained that she got a second biopsy because what the doctors saw was “incredibly rare” for her age. After a few days, She was told that she needed to have an “immediate operation to remove a tumor” from her face.
The reality star continued by saying that she called a doctor close to her family, Doctor Garth Fisher. She knew the doctor was capable of taking care of her face. The TV personality underwent the operation and Dr. Fisher was thankfully able to remove “everything.” Kardashian is now in the healing process.
What Did Khloe Kardashian’s Surgeon Say About Her Surgery?
Dr. Fisher shared a post on Instagram, where he expressed how he felt about operating Kardashian. He explained that he was saddened that the media star had to go through a procedure of “requiring removing of a dangerous and significant tumor” from her face. The physician was happy everything was sorted out.
He also told her to be “mindful of too much sun exposure.” The surgeon also appreciated Kardashian for trusting him to operate on her face, because it felt like operating on “his own daughter.”

Per E!News, the reality star noted that she was sharing her experience publicly to create awareness for people to get checked regularly. People might think that whatever is happening to them might be just little but can actually need medical intervention.
Kardashian thanked her doctors for removing everything. She also felt very lucky they caught it early. The Good American c0-founder concluded that she is “forever thankful and grateful.”
