Even though Halloween has come to its end, Fortnite players can still participate in some of the Fortnitemare challenges and get that little bit of experience points. All of the Fortnitemare challenges are somehow related to Halloween or spooky things. From the start of this event, Zombie Chickens appeared in Fortnite’s sky, and many players want to know how to fly with them. Since Epic Games loves to add challenges so players can test new mechanisms, they added a challenge related to Zombie Chickens. If you want to try it, here is how to do it.

Fortnite: How to Fly With a Zombie Chicken

how to fly with a zombie chicken in fortnite

Among the many challenges you can complete as part of the Fortnitemare, flying with a Zombie Chicken might be the weirdest of them all. But since it will give players 15,000 XP, it is worth trying.

The first step is to find a Zombie Chicken. Although it may seem they are all over the place, Zombie Chickens only spawn in biomes that haven’t been consumed by Chrome. So you would have to land or go to East of Greasy Grove at Reality Roots or Overtaken Outpost. Once you’ve reached one of the mentioned locations, then you must look for a Zombie Chicken. Since these creatures attack on sight, they might see you first and, before you notice, attack and deal some damage. Therefore, it is best to have some healing items.

You can also enable the sound visualization option, which will make the procedure of finding a Zombie Chicken much easier. Once you have the chicken in sight, it is time to grab onto it and fly with it.

You have two options for grabbing the Zombie Chicken. You can either try to grab the chicken before it attacks. Since this creature moves really fast, there is a good chance you won’t be successful on your first try. The other option is much safer. You would dodge the first attack, and then before they attack again, you would be prepared and grab the chicken. Once you’ve grabbed the Zombie Chicken, you have to hold it and fly for 75 meters. You can do this by moving forward and jumping. When you are holding the chicken and jumping, you will stay in the air for some time, which counts as flying.
