The “Solitary Sea Beast” quest is a world quest given by Kumi. This guide will show you how to complete the Solitary Sea Beast Quest in Genshin Impact.

What is Solitary Sea Beast Quest in Genshin Impact?

Genshin Impact‘s Solitary Sea Beast quest is one of the many available in the game. The quest takes place on Watatsumi Island, Inazuma. In this quest, The quest challenges include solving the puzzle of the Watatsumi statue and rescuing Anisa.

Rewards for completing the quest include Adventure EXP, Inazuma Reputation EXP, Mora, Primogem, and Hero’s Wit. Players may encounter enemies during the investigation, including Electro Samachurl, Rock Shield Hilichurl Guard, Electro Hilichurl Grenadier, Blazing Axe Mitachurl, and Hilichurl Grenadier.

How to complete the Solitary Sea Beast quest in Genshin Impact?

To solve the Solitary Sea Beast Quest in Genshin Impact, you must rescue Anisa and solve the puzzle of the Watatsumi statue. You need to start your quest from  Watatsumi Island, Inazuma. You can see the Quest Icon on the map. When you approach the Icon, you will see Kumi near the Archon Statue of Watatsumi. Here are the steps that you need to follow to complete the quest.

Rescuing Anisa

  1. Talk to Kumi
  2. Give Kumi three Sakura Blooms. It will not be difficult since Sakura Petals are Spread all over the map.
  3. Go to the other side of the Island, located at  Hilichurl camp. You can find the location easily on the map.
  4. Defeat enemies and rescue Anisa. ( there will be two waves of enemies. You will encounter one Electro Samachurl, Electro Samachurl, and two Rock Shield Hilichurl Guards for the first wave, one Blazing Axe Mitachurl,  and two Hilichurl Grenadiers for the second wave.)
  5. Talk to Anisa, and she will ask you to solve the puzzle of the Watatsumi statue and open the reward chest.

Solving the puzzle of the Watatsumi statue

  1. Activate the hydro and electro monuments near the statue to start the puzzle.
  2. Complete the “Light Up Tile Puzzle.” You must note step twice on one  Tile Twice to complete this puzzle. Don’t worry. If you cross a dead end, It would be best to interact with the Mysterious Pillar, showing you the next Tile to move on.
  3. Activate the Mysterious Pillar.
  4. Talk to Anisa
  5. Talk to Kumi and Receive your rewards.
