Character customization has always been a prominent part of the modern releases in the Pokémon franchise; likewise, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet enable Trainers to freely change their hairstyles whenever they please — for a price. When players make their characters at the start of the game, they have access to twenty-five hairstyles to stylize their Trainer avatar. Suppose while playing the game, fans feel their hair color or hairdo does not match the attire they wish to wear. In that case, the twenty-five choices they had at the beginning of the game will still be available at specific locations within major towns.

Salon Renancer Location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

To change one’s Hairstyle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players must visit particular NPC vendors known as Salon Renancers or simply Salons. These shops can be found within the three main cities of Levincia, Mesagoza, and Cascarrafa. To find a Salon, open the in-game map and look for an icon displayed with a pair of scissors.

Regardless if Trainers are traveling through Levincia, Mesagoza, or Cascarrafa, Salons should always have a similar exterior shop appearance with a spinning barber’s pole beside the door. Once inside, players can speak with the worker behind the counter. After a warm welcome, the NPC will let Trainers choose which hairstyle they would like to change into in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Based on gameplay by YouTuber GosuNoob, players can choose the hairstyle they would like on the left tab of the menu, while the right will modify the hair color of their character. Once fans are satisfied with their decision, they must pay 3,000 Pokédollars to perform the alteration.

Accordingly, changing one’s hairstyle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can be done at any time during the Trainer’s journey, as long as they have the funds to pay the Salon. Moreover, there is no limit to how many times one can make these changes, meaning that the possibilities of clothing and hairstyle combinations are endless. However, keep in mind that 3,000 Pokédollars is a moderately hefty investment to commit to during the early stages of the game. In other words, it might be a better idea to save one’s money for more practical items that can help gameplay progression. Later on, once players have enough money to spend in excess, cosmetic changes should not be an issue.
