Soulframe Open Preludes Launches on November 6
First, let’s get the release date of Soulframe Open Preludes out there: November 6. That’s right. New Envoys won’t have to wait for a code anymore, as Digital Extremes is letting everyone in on this ambitious new title.
There’s a good reason to do this, however, as one of the biggest and most groundbreaking updates for Soulframe is also on its way, and we’re talking about Preludes 17.
While there isn’t an exact release date for Preludes 17, Digital Extremes confirmed it is planning to launch it sometime in November. Since this update will change several things in the game, including a rework of Votives, a brand-new Pact, mounts finally coming to the game, and the Veilands, this will be the perfect time to let an even bigger part of the community try the game.
As for the new features, the developers have shared more details on what they are and how some will work. Veilands, for instance, is a new progression system in the world, where Envoys will have to cleanse several regions. By doing so, you’ll eventually get your wolf pup, which will become your mount after completing other tasks.
The new Pact will focus on deploying traps, throwing bolas, and more, which sounds like something fun to try, especially if you’ve only played as the current Pacts in the game so far.
And for those also looking for some seasonal fun, Bita’s Eve is coming back with new rewards, a few encounters, and even a special fish.
