Want to know where to find Croagunk in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? While Legendary Pokémon are the best Pokémon, some of the more common species can also surprise you. One such Pokémon is Croagunk, and you will want to get him on your team. Although it bears the appearance of a strange frog, Croagunk is not a water type but a combined poison and fighting-type Pokémon. Thanks to this, he has resistance to bug, grass, rock, and dark-type attacks, and his stealth attacks from the shadows make him even more unpredictable. To find Croagunk in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must visit two locations, and our guide is here to help you with this.

Where to Find Croagunk in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Like every other Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Croagunk does not walk around the entire game map but has several habitats. So, if you want to find it, check out the following locations:

  • Visit the western part of the map near Casseroya Lake. Walk along the coast, and soon you will find Croagunk.
  • The second place you should check out is East Province (Area Three). There are extensive open areas here, so you will notice the blue Croagunk from afar.

While you can easily catch a Croagunk in one of these areas, there is a place to find a Croagunk in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet with almost a 100% chance. Go from Porto Marinada to Medali along the cave road. When you almost reach the goal, you will need to cross a small bridge, but you don’t need to go further. Look to the right of the bridge, and you will see one or more Croagunks.

Once you’ve found the Croagunk, throw a Pokéball at him to start the battle. Since Croagunk is a poison and fighting-type Pokémon, it is relatively weak against the psychic, ground, and flying-type Pokémon. And respective type’s attacks deal additional damage to him. So before you start, make sure you have a Pokémon on your team that can defeat Croagunk.
