Ghastly and its evolutionary line have always been popular, even since Generation I/Pokemon Red, Blue, and Green. It’s not just because they look quite cute for a Ghost, surrounded by creepy lore, but also extremely viable in a competitive environment, thanks to Gengar’s great Special Attack and Speed stats, as well as having a wide move pool. Here’s how you can evolve a Haunter into Gengar in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
