Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are the newest installments of the beloved Pokemon franchise, and they feature many new pokemon to catch and evolve. Charcadet is a Fire-type Pokemon that can evolve into Armarouge. Once evolved, it is a powerful Fire and Psychic-type Pokemon that can take down most opponents. This guide will show you how to evolve Charcadet into Armarouge in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Who is Charcadet in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Charcadet, the Fire-Type Pokémon, is a unique creature that has appealed to Pokémon fans since its debut. It combines both fire and human-like traits in its appearance. Charcadet has a low catch rate of only 90 (20.1%), which offers trainers a challenge in trying to capture it. However, trainers are rewarded handsomely when they succeed since it provides an impressive base experience yield of 51 when captured. Furthermore, its dual fire and flash fire abilities, combined with its hidden flame body, make Charcadet a formidable opponent to use in a battle. Charcadet evolves into two Pokemon, Armarouge and Ceruledge, depending on which armor it is exposed to. If  Charcadet is exposed to Auspicious Armor, it evolves into Armarouge, and exposure to Malicious Armor makes it evolve into Ceruledge.

Armarouge is a Fire/Psychic-type Pokemon capable of both offensive and defensive moves like Psychic, Confuse Ray, and Heat Wave. It has a great speed attack stat of 125, and its special defense is very high at 80. Its hidden ability, Weak Armor,  is also beneficial as it allows Armarouge to reduce the damage taken by physical attacks.
