Dreepy is Ghost- and Dragon-type Lingering Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that evolves into the Caretaker Draloak after reaching a certain level milestone. To catch Dreepy, Trainers must search the wetlands and swamps of Paldea since it prefers moist areas as its habitat. Moreover, players should bear in mind that Dreepy and its evolutions are Violet exclusives, meaning that Scarlet users will need to get their Dreepy family members from trading. Nevertheless, once Trainers have caught Dreepy, the next step is evolving the Lingering Pokémon into its Caretaker form, Draloak.
Evolving Dreepy into Draloak in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To evolve Dreepy into Draloak in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Trainers will need to advance the Ghost- and Dragon-type Lingering Pokémon to Level 50, after which it will automatically transform into Draloak. The leveling process does not have any special requirements, so EXP Candy and Rare Candy can be used to attain Level 50 easily.

Similar to the evolution from Dreepy into Draloak in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the jump from Draloak into Dragapult also involves reaching a level milestone. Specifically, Draloak must attain Level 60 to become Dragapult. While the development from a low-level Dreepy to a Level 60 Dragapult seems like a daunting endeavor, the end result is well worth the effort. Dragapult wields exceptionally high IVs in Attack, Special Attack, and Speed, making it one of the best Dragon-type fighters for endgame content. Its main downside is that it is quite squishy in regard to its middling defensive stats. Nonetheless, Dragapult is capable of dealing a devasting amount of damage in a short period of time, especially when pitted against an opponent it counters.
Catching Dreepy or Draloak in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet also has a chance of yielding Dreepy Powder. While not much is known about the TMs that this material can craft, players can sell them in exchange for League Points, a useful currency for making TM recipes and other essential gameplay activities. As noted above, Dreepy can be found within wetlands and swamps throughout all of Paldea. On the other hand, Draloak primarily can be found at Casseroya Lake, a few spots in Glaseado Mountain, and the northern portion of the North Province.
