Ever since video game Mario was given a voice he’s always been voiced by the same man, Charles Martinet. The familiar “It’s-a me, Mario” was first introduced to us back in the nineties. The aforementioned video game is none other than Super Mario 64. Since then Charles Martinet has always been the sole voice actor of Nintendo’s lovable short plumber.
Earlier this year the Nintendo World store located in Rockefeller Plaza was closed to receive a renovation. It was announced that the store would no longer be called Nintendo World, instead, it would be Nintendo NY. The Nintendo NY official Twitter posted today that fans everywhere could meet Charles Martinet at the grand reopening on 2/19.

While not universally announced, the excitement is felt among fans near and far.
