Survivor Activity HUD

BHVR has announced that they have finished setting up the bridge between solo survivors and multiplayer groups. This move will give players the ability to help each other in revealing crucial information. According to the franchise, this change will be effective in an upcoming 6.5.0 update.

At the same time, each Survivor will now display their current action next to their portrait. These actions include:

  • Repairing a Generator
  • Opening an Exit Gate
  • Healing, Mending & Recovering
  • Cleansing & Blessing a Totem
  • Searching a Chest
  • Killer specific actions (e.g. Snapping out of it, waking up a Survivor, etc.)

Updated Wiggle Mechanics

Following the success of the Wiggle mechanics in Beta mode, BHVR will now integrate it officially into the game with update 6.5.0. However, this feature will also have different changes including:

  • Removal of the faster wiggle progression from great skill checks.
  • There’s a new sound for non-attempts (i.e. not attempting to hit a skill check at all.)
  • There’s a clean up on the new system’s interaction with Decisive Strike.

The Nurse

Dev team is planning to introduce some changes on the nurse. These features include:

  • Her blink attacks will be special attacks.
  • There’ll be a new sound cue when The Nurse has fully regenerated all her blink charges.
  • New effects on her add-on features.

The Dead by Daylight developer update for January 2023 has several plans of changes as indicated on the official site. Dead by Daylight is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, iOS, and Android.
