Since Johnny never made it to America and it was important for Ella to have physical affection, she ended up cheating on him. Although the Chinese reality star forgave his girlfriend for being unfaithful, he failed to fulfill her wish to fly to America and meet her in person after talking to her over the internet for months. Eventually, Ella decided to meet Johnny halfway in Dubai, and even bought a flight ticket. Unfortunately, Johnny refused to fly to Dubai because he couldn’t afford to fall sick, being the sole breadwinner of his family. Johnny never made the United States and didn’t meet Ella in person. In September 2022, the Idaho native shared that she isn’t waiting for her foreign beau anymore. In an Instagram Story, Ella wrote, “We’re not together currently.” But she mentioned that Johnny is still in contact with her and wants to come to America to meet her. Although Ella supports Johnny’s decision, she has made up her mind to move on. She added, “I wish everyone and him the best in whatever he decides. I really do care about him and I really did care about our relationship.”

It just seemed over time that these two were not destined to have their fates align. Now that they are no longer in a relationship, the likelihood of them meeting seems less and less.
