Stranded Deep has recently become one of the popular survival games, where players have to survive on an island alone. This means they must make shelters, find food, and fight animals that might attack them. To tackle each of these obstacles, the game provides several solutions for each of them. In the case of finding food, one of the ways you can find it is to set some traps. Bird Snare is one of the many trap types you can make in Stranded Deep, and here is how to make it.

How to Make a Bird Snare in Stranded Deep

Like every survival game, keeping your stomach full is one of the many challenges you have to overcome, and always have a plan for it. In the case of Stranded Deep, there are several ways you can overcome this challenge.

Depending on which is more suitable for you and what items you have in your inventory, you can get food through farming, scavenging, or cooking meat. For cooking meat, you can either go on a hunt or set a trap and wait for the animal to step into it.

Bird Snare is among the best traps you can make in the game. One of the best attributes of this trap is that it doesn’t require a lot of resources to make. Each trap is capable of capturing one seagull per in-game day. So it is best to create more than one trap to capture more seagulls.

To create a Bird Snare trap in Stranded Deep you will need 1 Rock, 3 Lashings, and 2 Sticks. As you can see, you don’t need too many resources to make a Bird Snare trap. Therefore make sure you set multiple traps in different locations. To make the trap, simply go to the crafting menu and select Bird Snare.

Once the traps are set, all you have to do is wait and come the next day to get your seagull. There is a chance you might not get seagull every day, which is another reason why you must set multiple traps.

Stranded Deep is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
