Clefable is one of the more gentle-looking pocket monsters. A Fairy-type, it certainly has a whimsical look and allure to it. Any Trainer could appreciate adding one to their Pokedex. If you haven’t caught Clefable yet in Pokemon Go, there are a couple of ways you can get one. Thankfully, they’re not a rare find. So, it shouldn’t be impossible to add the bouncy, sweet pocket monster to your lineup.
Catching Clefable in Pokemon Go
[Updated August 24, 2024 – info about how you can evolve to get Clefable]
Clefable is a regular spawn in Pokemon Go. So, if you want to catch this pocket monster, just go out in the wild. It was available when the game originally launched, so it’s been there for quite some time.
Some might have a tough time encountering Clefable in the wild despite its regular spawn nature. If so, you can always wait for an event to increase its spawn rate.
Can You Catch a Shiny Clefable in Pokemon Go?
Although Clefable is commonly found in Pokemon Go, the same is not true for Shiny Clefable. The main difference between the normal variant and Shiny variant is simply the tips of its ears. But it’s a cute change nonetheless. Still, finding a Shiny Clefable is just as rare as any other Shiny variant. It’s possible, but you’ll have a better chance of finding one during special events.
How To Evolve to Get Clefable
Catching Clefable in the wild is not the only way you can score one in Pokemon Go. Instead, Clefable is the final evolution in Cleffa’s line. So, you can instead catch a Cleffa or Clefairy and evolve until you get Clefable.
If you start with the tiny Cleffa, you can evolve it into Clefairy using x25 Candies. From Clefairy, you can evolve it into Clefable using x50 Candies. It seems like a lot of Candy, but you can always use Cleffa or Clefairy as your Buddy to collect more. Remember that you can also use Pinap Berries when catching this pocket monster line to increase the amount of Candies you score.
