What is the worst thing you have ever done in The Sims?

When playing The Sims, you are essentially a God. You create your own virtual people from scratch, choose their appearance, traits and then introduce them into the artificial world. The aim of the game is to have these creations evolve from their simplistic conception to flourish into highly skilled, social beings.

The problem is… too much power can corrupt and I for one have felt the devil’s influence on me.

Removing the ladder from a pool and watching a Sim drown? Burning down a house with no possible escape? Sound familiar… Just me huh?

Well, at least I know I’m not the only sadistic person out there as the aptly named ‘Hell’ has created their very own ‘sweatshop’ in The Sims.

‘Hell’ begins by creating a living quarters for the ‘slave master’ and exploits the remaining sims by making them work outrageous hours with minimal luxury. As an insult to injury, they are forced to wear hot-dog outfits too.

The ‘slave master’ has the workers writing literature at first to create a steady profit and it works. At regular intervals, a cheque is delivered to the home but sadly the true writer will never see any of the profit.

The story evolves from there with the ‘slave master’ building a new luxury house whilst the Sims keep working. They retire from writing novels and instead produce more financially pleasing art pieces.

The story only gets worse for these poor Sims and soon they are forced to breed and their children join the horrible business.

Check out the story here and part II continues here.
