Evolution can be a great way to make your Arctibax more robust and complete your journey in Scarlet and Violet. This guide will tell you how to evolve Arctibax in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Who is Arctibax in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Arctibax, the Ice Fin Pokémon, has a body type of unknown appearance and is gray in Pokédex color. Arctibax has two abilities, Thermal Exchange and Ice Body. It is renowned for its slow leveling rate and low catch rate, which stands at 25 (7.7%). Its gender ratio is 50% male and 50% female. This Pokémon belongs to the Dragon and Mineral egg groups and hatches in 10280 – 10536 steps.

An Arctibax’s height measures 2’07” or 0.8 m with a weight of 66.1 lbs or 30.0kgs carrying 148 experience points that yield two EV points when defeated; one HP point and one Speed point, respectively. Their base stats range from 90-197 HP points, 95-161 Attack points, 66-129 Defense points, 45-106 Sp Atk points, and 65-128 Sp Def points, with 62-125 Speed points total of 423 points overall.

You can evolve Arctibax into Baxcalibur in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by leveling it up to level 54. This is not easy since Arctibax grows from Frigibax at level 35. That means you need to grind up 19 levels to reach 54. Arctibax is a slow-leveling Pokemon, so it will take some time and patience to get there. Also, ensure that you equip your Arctibax with powerful items, such as XP candies, to help it reach the next level quickly. Once your Arctibax reaches level 54, it will evolve into, Baxcalibur.

Baxcalibur is a powerful Ice/Dragon-type Pokemon with excellent offensive and defensive stats. It can learn powerful attacks such as Dragon Pulse and Ice Beam, which makes it a formidable opponent. With its two abilities, Thermal Exchange and Ice Body, and the moves that can be learned, Baxcalibur can be a great addition to your team in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
