Tower of Trials is a one-way player that can get many rewards and XP in the game. This guide will tell you how the  Tower of Trials works in Fire Emblem Engage.

What is The Tower of Trials in Fire Emblem Engage?

Once they completion of Chapter 6 in the Somniel map, players can unlock the Tower of Trials located in its far south corner. Many rewards can be obtained by playing your way through a series of randomly selected battles. These rewards include Def Crystal, Dex Crystal, Mt Crystal, and Res Crystal, which vary according to difficulty level – ranging from one to thirty crystals per challenge level.

Additionally, the enemy levels will also differ depending on the challenge level, where levels 1 to 20 correspond to the base class and 21-40 reach the advanced class. The Tower of Trials can be accessed repeatedly, with a new set of randomly assigned enemy levels and rewards upon completion of the previous stage. Playing these battles in the Tower of Trials is a great way to obtain rewards while having fun!

How the Tower of Trials works in Fire Emblem Engage?

The Tower of Trials in Fire Emblem Engage works in three game modes, Temptest Trial, Relay Trial, and Outrealm Trial. Outrealm Trial and Relay Trial are unlocked once you have completed Chapter 6. You need to complete Chapter 11 to open the Temptest Trial.

  • Temptest Trial: Templates Trial allows your team to play back-to-back battles; each match will be more complex than the previous battle. The rewards are based on the overall difficulty of all battles you have completed. If any character dies during the battles, you will not lose them; similarly, any items will not be lost.
  • Relay Trial: You need a Relay Ticket to participate in this game mode. You can only play this mode with one of your friends and must play through the map alongside your friend. Ensure your friend has the same character level to get the best outcome.
  • Outrealm Trial: This is an online Mode, and you will play head to head battle with another player’s curated team. An AI will control the opponent team. However, all character options were made by another player. Also, you can customize some of these trial maps.
