Elden Ring is without a doubt one of the best games released in 2022, if not the best. Like previous games from FromSoftware, Elden Ring is a hard game compared to every other action adventure game available. If you aren’t familiar with the Souls games, even the simplest enemies will be hard to defeat for you. As your wander around in the Lands Between, there is a chance you will be invaded by another NPC. Bloody Finger Nerijus is one of these enemies, and here is how to beat him in Elden Ring.
How to Beat Bloody Finger Nerijus in Elden Ring
There is a good chance Bloody Finger Nerijus will be your first NPC invader in the world of Elden Ring. Bloody Finger will invade your character if you pass under the highway bridge that connects East and West Liurnia. This location is very close to where you will start your journey in the Lands Between.
Bloody Finger Nerijus would usually attack players when they try to get into the Murkwater Cave. He is not a tough boss in general, but if you face him early in the game, he can be quite challenging.
He uses short daggers that have a bleeding effect, and if the meter gets full, it will deal an insane amount of damage. But with proper strategy, you can defeat him early in the game.
When you make your way toward the Murkwater Cave entrance, you will face some skeletons. Make sure they are all dead, so they won’t disturb you. Then when the Bloody Finger invades you, move backward and try to lure him out.
As you do this, after reaching a certain point, another NPC by the name of Bloody Finger Hunter Yura will come to help you. If you aren’t that powerful yet, it is best to let Yura do most of the work and keep your distance.
Still, you should be prepared for his ranged attacks. Nerijus usually changes his focus from Yura towards you and does a ranged attack that will cause bleeding. Therefore it is best to keep your health full all the time and be prepared for his attacks.

By letting Yura do most of the work and you focus on mostly defending rather than attacking, you should be able to beat Bloody Finger Nerijus. Once he’s beaten, he will drop Reduvia, his special dagger that is considered one of the best weapons you can get early in the game.
