In a Playstation Blog posting, Sony announced the new Plus games for March across the Playstation 3 and 4 The highlight game of the games for grabs is Broforce, 2D shooter that was part of the Vote to Play promotion done by Sony. Broforce joins Grow Home as one of these titles and is the first Vote to Play game of 2016. Below are the other games to be launched as the free games of March for PlayStation Plus.
Broforce
Pixelated violence defines this games as you and another friend play through multiple action levels in the same vein as Contra. Action tropes, ridiculous names and massive power-ups await players of the winner of the first Vote to Play game of 2016.
Galak-Z
Take a 2D shooter, wrap it in Anime and slap in some brutal roguelike elements in the core mechanics and you have 17 BIT’s well received 2015 shooter. While not being a fully realized roguelike, this game has some of the tightest controls for the genre and has a great take on combining roguelike and sci-fi into a fun package.
The Last Guy
Quirky, funny and survival horror…have I confused you yet? An interesting game mechanic where you are the Last Guy who guides people through a city of monsters and all done with a top-down view. While being a bit dated due to releasing in 2008, this is a fun take on the zombie genre and has plenty of replayability.
Super Stardust HD
This game is a graphically overhauled remake of the Amiga title where the player goes through multiple levels of shoot ’em up goodness solo or with a friend. Power-ups, bosses and a graduated skill cap make this game check all the boxes needed to make players want to return for just one more round.
