There are numerous Killers in Dead by Daylight, but if you want to build up your skills with just one, you’ll need to understand the Perks. If you have many or all the Killers, you’re open to a versatile selection. But what if you want to main The Knight? What’s the best way to utilize such a Killer? Well, we’ve compiled some of the best Perks you can use with The Knight in Dead by Daylight. We’ll break things down whether you’re just working with this one Killer or you have Perks from all of them.
The Knight Unique Perks in Dead by Daylight
Back in CHAPTER 6: Forged in Fog, The Knight debuted. He’s known as a more strategic Killer and utilizes his guards to hunt Survivors. The Knight is not among the more difficult Killers to adapt to, but he might offer a learning curve for absolute beginners.
Before you can touch on the best Perks for The Knight, let’s look at the three unique ones he has in Dead by Daylight:
- Hubris: If you’re stunned by a Survivor, said Survivor will suffer Exposed Status for 10/15/20 seconds.
- Nowhere to Hide: When you kick a Generator, the aura of nearby Survivors is revealed.
- Hex: Face the Darkness: Once you injure a Survivor, it will ignite a Hex Totem tied to them. All Survivors outside your terror radius will scream every 25 seconds.
Best Base Perks for The Knight in Dead by Daylight
If you only have The Knight and the base Killer Perks that come with the game, you can still create a great build to control the match. We’ve chosen Perks that focus on speed, catching up to Survivors, and keeping them injured:
- Brutal Strength (The Trapper): Increases the speed of breaking pallets, breakable walls, and damaging generators by 10/15/20%.
- Hubris (The Knight): When stunned, the Survivor who stunned you suffers Exposed Status for 10/15/20 seconds.
- Sloppy Butcher (General): Basic attacks will cause Hemorrhage and Mangled status effects. Bleeding frequency increases 50/75/100%. Regression rate loss to Hemorrhage increases by 15/20/25%.
- Enduring (The Hillbilly): Reduces stun from Pallets by 40/45/50%.
Best All-Around Perks for The Knight
Now, if you have access to all the Perks, you can combine some from The Knight to create the best Dead by Daylight Killer build. Of course, the way you want to play will determine which Perks work out for you.
For those looking to quickly discover Survivors and hinder Generator progress, consider the build below:
- Hex: Face the Darkness (The Knight): Injuring a Survivor ignites a Hex Totem, and Survivors outside the terror radius scream every 25 seconds.
- Hex: Undying (The Blight): Reveals the auras of Survivors within 2/3/4 meters of a Dull Totem. Once a Survivor cleanses/blesses another Hex Totem, said Hex transfers to the Undying Totem and disables Undying.
- Call of Brine (The Onryō): Perk is active for 60 seconds after damaging a Generator. The damaged Generator will regress at 150/175/200% of the normal Regression speed and becomes highlighted in yellow. When a Survivor hits a Good Skill Check on the Generator, you receive a loud noise notification.
- Eruption (The Nemesis): Damaging a Generator applies the Perk and highlights said Generator. When you down a Survivor, the highlighted Generators lose 10% progression. Survivors who work on them receive the Incapacitated status effect for 15/20/25 seconds.
