To begin Cache in the Castle in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll need to go speak with Arthur Plummy, who can be found in the location pictured below. He will ask you if you’re ready to go on an adventure and give you a treasure map that he found. After you look at the map, you’ll find that there are three different locations you must visit in order to reach the treasure at the end of the map. Below, we’ll walk you through all of the steps.

Before you begin you’ll want to make sure you are at least Level 4 and you have completed the Welcome to Hogsmeade Main Story Quest.

Treasure Map Site #1

In order to find the first site, you won’t have to travel very far. In front of Arthur, you will see a set of stairs. Follow the stars down and turn to your right, where you will find a large Rhinoceros skeleton. Get close to it and the next step in the Side Quest will begin, taking you to a different location.

Treasure Map Site #2

The second site on the treasure map is one that should be familiar to you, as this is the location where one of your Maid Story quests began. Head into the Transfiguration Courtyard and get close to the Dragon statue that sits in the center of the Courtyard. This will begin your next quest step.

Following the map, head through the door that can be found behind the Dragon statue and to the right. As you head through the staircase, you’ll find a large painting against the wall, as pictured above. Walk up to the painting, which will trigger the next quest step. Using your Accio spell, aim toward the door-knocker at the top of the painting and hit it. This will transform the painting into a doorway.

Once you’ve gone inside the door, you’ll find a Chest that you can open, the Treasure at the end of your Treasure Map. Within it, you will find a Robe Cosmetic. Head back to speak with Arthur in order to obtain 180 XP.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
