Do you want to know how to apply Traits in the magical world of Hogwarts Legacy? Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG video game set in the Harry Potter universe. Also, it allows you to explore the world of Hogwarts and develop your characterโ€™s abilities. Traits are upgrades that can be applied to your gears, enabling you to customize their skills and playstyle. This guide will tell you how to use Traits inย  Hogwarts Legacy.

What are Traits in Hogwarts Legacy?

The Trait is a system that allows you to improve your Gear through enchanted Loom. Hogwarts Legacy provides a variety of Traits for your character to obtain throughout the game. Also, Superb Gear has a Trait Slot Level 1, Special Gear has a Trait Slot Level 2, and Legendary Gear has a Trait Slot Level 3 with variations I, II, and III, which add to the efficacy of the Trait.

The crafting materials of all Tier I is one Puffskein Fur, all Tier 2 is one Diricawl Feather, and all Tier 3 is one Kneazle Fur. You might be fortunate enough to find something interesting in Collection Chest in Bandit Camps, with reload option available before opening if a different Trait is preferred.

How to Apply Traits in Hogwarts Legacy

You can apply Traits inย  Hogwarts Legacy once you have completed โ€˜The Room of Requirementโ€™ย  andย  โ€˜The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and The Loomโ€™ quests. In the questย  โ€˜The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and The Loom,โ€™ you will learn how to rescue magical Beasts and locate them in Vivarium, a sanctuary place for magical beasts inside yourย  Room of Requirement. Also, you can place the Enchanted Loom inside theย  Room of Requirement. The Enchanted Loom is where you can apply Traits for your Gear. Here are the steps you need to follow.

  1. Brush and Feed saved animals, and they will give you the required materials, such as Puffskein Fur, Diricawl Feathe, and Kneazle Fur, to upgrade your Gear.
  2. Exit the Vivarium and equipย  Conjuration spell.
  3. Go to the Enchanted Loom and interact with it.
  4. Select the Gear and select the Trait.
  5. ย Choose the Tier of the Trait according to your resources. Confirm, and you are done.

You need to gather different materials from different Magical Beasts to apply each Trait to a gear. Once you have applied the Trait to your Gear, you can enjoy using it in combat. With these simple steps, you can apply Traits inย  Hogwarts Legacy and customize your character according to your preferences. So go ahead and upgrade your Gear with some excellent Traits.
