There are loads of different potions within Hogwarts Legacy that you can get and use easily, like the Focus Potion. Each potion within the wizarding world gives you some sort of an advantage in battle. Some grant you invisibility, while others grant you increased armor or a huge boost to attack damage. Hogwarts Legacy: How to Get and Use Focus Potion

There are a couple of different ways that you can obtain Focus Potions:

  • Brew Them Yourself
  • Purchase Them From a Vendor

The easiest way to obtain them is to purchase them from a vendor. The closest vendor to Hogwarts is Parry Pippin, who can be found within the J. Parry Potions shop. However, if you wander around the world a bit and get to know some of the other vendors, you’ll find that you can also purchase them in other places. At this time, we don’t have a complete list of every vendor who sells Focus Potions yet.

The second way to obtain Focus Potions is to brew them yourself. This can be done either in the Potions Class or the Room of Requirement, assuming you’ve placed a Potions Stand within your room already. Brewing potions yourself can take anywhere from 15 seconds to a couple of minutes, but the wait is never very long. The hard part is ensuring you have all the correct ingredients needed to make the potion you want.

You can find the ingredients needed to make Focus Potion below:

  • 3 Lacewing Flies
  • 1 Fluxweed Stem
  • 1 Dugbog Tongue

In order to use Focus Potion, you don’t have to do much. Simply hold down the tab button on your keyboard in order to pull up your potions wheel. Select the Focus Potion and close the menu. Now, any time you press your tab button, you will drink a Focus Potion. Whenever you drink a Focus Potion, your spell cooldown will be reduced.

She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
