If you want to unlock the Igni Sign Emote reward from the Geralt of Rivia Quests in Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 1, you will need to complete the challenge “Emote in The Citadel throne room.” For newcomers, The Citadel is a named location that can be found on the northwestern side of the island map, west of Anvil Square and south of Breakwater Bay. As its name implies, the throne room of this landmark is the chamber where you find the royal seat of the castle. After you find it, you need to perform an Emote with your character to complete the Geralt of Rivia Quest’s objective.

Finding The Citadel in Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 1 is easy, but locating the throne room can be a challenge, especially if you are new or seldom visit this named location. Fortunately, the royal chamber is easy to discover as long as you take a specific route in the castle.

Based on gameplay by YouTube content creator KingAlexHD, the best way to get to the throne room of The Citadel is by approaching the landmark from the southern main entrance. If you are traveling north to the castle from the south, you will notice a large stone overpass leading straight to the structure’s gateless entryway. Whether you are dropping from the Battle Bus or walking on foot, entering this entry point is the fastest way to reach the throne room since the corridors inside are directly connected to the target chamber.

Accordingly, head through the large southern entrance and follow either the left or right hallways. Both lead to the same room. After going through a few corners, you will arrive in the throne room of The Citadel, where you can perform an Emote and unlock Geralt of Rivia’s Igni Sign. For newcomers, Emotes are accessed by pressing the B key on your keyboard or Down on the D-pad of your controller. Once you Emote, a notification in the upper-left-hand corner will let you know that you have successfully completed the “Emote in The Citadel throne room” challenge.

Fortnite is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
