For example, in Defense Against The Dark Arts tower, you can find Duncan Hobhouse, who will ask you to get a Giant Venomous Tentacula Leaf for him.
Duncan is a shy Ravenclaw student who gets bullied by his classmates for failing to cast a spell correctly in one of the Hecat’s classes. And to show everyone that he is brave, Duncan will ask you to go to the Hidden Herbology Corridor and get a Giant Venomous Tentacula Leaf for him. It’s easy to do, just follow the marker on the map. Inside the Hidden Herbology Corridor with lots of roots, you can find some loot and a Giant Venomous Tentacula. Fortunately, to take a Leaf, you just need to interact with the plant. And after you return to Duncan Hobhouse, you will have the choice of giving him a Venomous Tentacula Leaf.

In Hogwarts Legacy, your sidequest choices don’t affect the main story in any way, so you can choose any options. If you decide to help the guy, he will be immensely grateful to you and may become braver. But if you leave the Venomous Tentacula Leaf to yourself, he will get very upset.
