Sony has launched something great for its online service. PS Plus was revamped a while ago, bringing an end to the usual tier to make way for a new version of the service. This new version brings three tiers that are accessible depending on what you want to get. PS Plus Essential works exactly as the previous version, Extra gives players a huge catalog, and Premium adds classic games and trials. Today, a new game joins PS Plus Premium as part of a trial, and that game is God of War: Ragnarok. That means you can play the game for free for a few hours if you’re on that tier.

God of War: Ragnarok arrives as a game trial for PS Plus Premium members

Anyone who is a member of the Premium tier of PS Plus will be able to play God of War: Ragnarok as a trial for three hours. While three hours isn’t enough time to experience most of what the game has to offer, it is still nice. This could be another way to nudge people into buying this title, which won a lot of awards in the past season.

Xbox is also offering some big trials right now. You can play up to 10 hours of Wild Hearts before its release. This is a lot longer than the trial of God of War: Ragnarok on PS Plus Premium. In the end, we can’t really blame a company as they want to convince players to buy the game. Letting them play for too much time might either convince them to get it or to skip it. But, if you haven’t played one of the best games of 2022, now’s the chance to try it for a while. If you decide to buy it, we truly recommend that you get the game. This title is an amazing end to the Nordic saga of God of War: Ragnarok and an excellent game overall.
