Eventually, their weeks of challenges and hiccups ended with the two enjoying the long-awaited private celebration.
Navigating Obstacles Ahead Of The Wedding
The episode began with Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev encountering typical wedding day challenges. From the discovery that Nikki’s wedding dress was not steamed the previous night to the wild hunt for the missing wedding rings. While the Total Bellas star struggled to hold her own together amid the obstacles, Artem dealt with his own demons. He confided in Nikki’s sister, Brie Bella, that he was not in a good place, given the missing wedding bands.
Brie tried reassuring her would-be brother-in-law, saying things always went bad at weddings, but it all worked out once they looked past the little things. Perhaps in her effort to look past those little negativities, Nikki, who was glamming up in the next room, told her makeup artist she just wanted to get on with the wedding but felt they were rushing things.
It appeared Bries’s words did their trick on Artem, as he soon developed a more positive mindset towards the wedding. Speaking to his best man, Gleb Savchenko, after their pep talk, he said:
“I have a beautiful woman who wants to marry me and who I want to marry, and I have a room full of people who care for both of us. When I started thinking from that perspective, the storm in my mind died down.”

She reflected on their undeniable chemistry and life together, romantic vacations, memorable dates, and all, describing life with him as perfect. She also thanked Artem for giving her their son Matteo the best gift of all. “I promise to be there for you always, bossy and all. I promise you more trips to Turkey or wherever we get to kiss your parents and brother and all.
