Want to learn how to get Tropius in Pokémon GO? Well, you aren’t the only player wandering around hoping to stumble upon one of these funny-looking, cool, flying Pokémon. If you haven’t discovered one yet, there’s a good chance you’re in the wrong place. We will show you the various ways that you can find Tropius. This way, you can grab up this 3rd Generation Pokémon as soon as possible.

How to Get Tropius in Pokémon GO

How to Get Tropius in Pokémon GO

If you haven’t discovered by now, Tropius is region-locked in the wild. So, you will only see it in the wild if you are in Africa, Crete, and South Spain.

Of course, you can always travel to these regions if feasible. This way, you can pull out your phone and see the sights all while finding Tropius in Pokémon GO.

However, not all of us can just hop on a plane and visit another continent. If you cannot, you still have some options at your disposal.

For one thing, you can check in with a friend who has their own Tropius in Pokémon GO. This friend may be willing to trade with you if you two are close enough.

Now, if this isn’t possible, your best shot is to wait for events. For instance, the upcoming Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Global will feature Tropius hatching out of 10km Eggs. If you participate, you have a solid chance of getting Tropius this way. There is even a shiny variant up for grabs in the event. The event will run from February 25, 2023 to February 26, 2023.

Otherwise, you may have to wait for future events to see if Tropius will show up again.

Tropius Stats in Pokémon GO

If you do manage to grab a Tropius, note that you will work with these stats for the Grass/Flying-type Pokémon:

  • Attack: 136
  • Defense: 165
  • HP: 198
  • Max CP: 1846

What makes Tropius the most useful is that they can go up against a variety of Pokémon. You can face off against Water and Grass types well enough. It also has solid resistance against Grass, Water, and Fire-type Pokémon and moves. Ground-type moves and Pokémon don’t do much against them either.

So, if you want a reliable companion in Pokémon GO, Tropius is a nice bet as long as you can get one.

Pokémon GO is available on iOS and Android.
