Jansen Panettiere passed at age 28 this past Sunday. Panettiere is known for his role as Casper in The Walking Dead and as Shovelmouth Boy in Ice Age: The Meltdown. He was the brother of the actor Hayden Panettiere. He died on Sunday, February 21st, in New York City. The rep of Hayden Panettiere, Kacey Kitchen, was the one who confirmed the death to CNN.
Jansen Panettiere Passed Away and Will Be Remembered
Panettiere will be remembered for his work including his role in The Walking Dead. The producers of The Walking Dead at Valhalla Entertainment talked about the star on Twitter, saying, “you might remember Jansen as ‘Casper’ in ‘The Calm Before’ in Season 9 of #TheWalkingDead. He will be deeply missed. The whole #TWDFamily is thinking about the Panettiere family right now.”
Jansen Panettiere’s credits also include the following: The Last Day of Summer, Even Stevens, The X’s, The Forger, The Martial Arts Kid, Summer Forever, Love and Love Not. Panettiere also starred alongside his sister in Tiger Cruise back in 2004. He also has early credits in voice acting, which include his work in Midori’s Nintendoland Bakery, Grand Central Bennetts, and Blue’s Clues. He also worked on Aaah! Roach! and was planning to work on projects America Game which is in production, Horse which is in pre-production; and Justice Angel, which is currently in development.
The actor Alyson Stoner, known for roles in Step Up, Phineas and Ferb, and Camp Rock, shared a tribute to the star Jansen Panettiere via Instagram. “Love you. I hope you are at peace // Hayden, love you. I’m so sorry for the incomparable loss. Thinking of your family and community. // Keep checking in on each other.”
