Finding the HMS Shipwreck Cache Key in Warzone 2 DMZ
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

There are plenty of points of interest and secret stashes to discover on the new DMZ map of Ashika Island in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, such as the HMS Shipwreck Cache. As its name suggests, this loot stash can be found at the Shipwreck, a landmark by the ocean on the eastern side of the island. For reference, the landmark sits by the coast east of Tsuki Castle, southeast of Residential, and northeast of Port Ashika. To get the Key for the HMS Shipwreck Cache in Warzone 2 DMZ, you must rely on RNG when looting chests, high-value targets, or other treasure caches, even those within the Al Mazrah map.

After arriving at the Shipwreck location in Warzone 2 DMZ, you will need to investigate the southern vessel. You will quickly notice that half of the hull is submerged in ocean water due to a hole in the side of the boat. Dive into the water and examine the deepest corner to find the loot stash.

The value of the loot you find in the HMS Shipwreck Cache in Warzone 2 DMZ will vary from player to player. For instance, YouTube content creator Speer Gaming was able to find a Gold Skull, two miscellaneous items, and a Key to another stash on the Ashika Island map. The Gold Skull is naturally the most valuable object since it can be sold for thousands of dollars. However, we recommend that you do not go out of your way to get this loot stash unless you are passing through the area or are already near the landmark.

The reason is that the Shipwreck offers much cover but is also an area where you might get stuck, such as the spot where the HMS Shipwreck Cache is located. Whether someone else is looking for this stash or is camping the site to ambush other players, you might find yourself in a precarious if you encounter an opponent. In other words, the loot offered is only useful if you are in need of cash, but there are safer places to loot if you need weaponry or other gear.

Warzone 2.0 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
