With the new Update Light Fall, Bungie introduced a new subclass called Strand Sources. Also, it is a powerful sub-class, and many players wonder how to bond with Strand Sources. This guide will tell you how to connect with Strand Sources in Destiny 2.

What are Strand Sources?

Strand Sources is a subclass introduced in the Lightfall expansion of Destiny 2. Taking from the elemental manifestation of the Darkness, this subclass allows players to manipulate the Weave – a matrix of psychic energy that connects all things in the universe. Also, in addition to powerful melee abilities, crowd control, and a grappling hook, Strand Source can manifest reality-altering powers that can test even the strongest Guardians. With this tool, Guardians can push enemies back or even slightly ahead depending on their playstyle – allowing for a rich combat experience.

You need to bond with Strand Sources two times to complete a quest in the game. Also, the quest is called Maelstrom, and you can find the quest near the Liming Harbor.

How to Bond With Strand Sources?

You can bond with Strand Sources in Destiny 2 by interacting with them. You have to walk to it and interact with it. Strand Sources spawn naturally, and you can not create them. You can find them near East of the Liming Harbor. After interacting with the Strand Sources, you will see a prompt to bond with it. This will enable you to use its powers. Using your subclass abilities, you can also gain strength and energy from Strand Sources. You can use this power to access powerful skills like creating a shield.

Most players have not seen many Strand Sources in the game besides the strain Sources spawns near the Liming Harbor. As you progress through the game, more Strand Sources will spawn in different locations.
