After you complete the first two trials, it’s time to learn how to complete Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial, the third trial in Hogwarts Legacy. This trial is quite a bit different than the first two, and it’ll take you to an entirely different world. However, it is a bit easier in a sense, as there is minimal fighting. How to Complete Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial in Hogwarts Legacy
Before you begin the quest, you will want to make sure that you at least Level 23 and you have completed the Polyjuice Plot quest. Now, it’s time to begin.
Access Headmaster’s Office
Since you transformed into Headmaster Black in the Polyjuice Plot quest, you will have already learned the password to the Headmaster’s Office. Wait until the headmaster is gone and head over to his Office where you will find a gargoyle guarding the stairway. Whisper the password to the gargoyle and make your way up the stairs.
Find the Book in the Headmaster’s Office
Once you’re inside, Niamh will tell you that you need to find and read a book. The book can be found in the next room on a pedestal. Approach the book and interact with it. The book will draw you inside of it and you will be able to move around freely in a world in black and white.
Make Your Way Through Town Without Being Seen
You will have to navigate through the town in order to collect 3 items. The first item is a cloak, which will grant you invisibility.
The second item is a wand, which will give you much more power.
The third item is a stone.
Use the Cloak
You will have to use the Cloak in order to gain invisibility to make it the rest of the way through the town.
Complete the Trial of the Stone
Once you make it through the town, you will have to defeat a bunch of Death’s Disciples in order to progress and obtain the stone. To do this, you will have to take on two different battles, both consisting of many enemies and 4 Trolls.
Witness Niamh Fitzgerald’s Memory
Speak with Niamh Fitzgerald in order to witness her memory at the pensive. She will show you the truth about how everything began, and how the goblins learned of Ancient Magic.
Return to the Map Chamber
There will be a magic doorway that leads back to the Map Chamber. Head through the doorway.
Speak to the Newly Arrived Keeper
When you arrive back in the Map Chamber, San Bakar will take his place as one of the Keepers, and will want to speak with you. Speak with him, then Professor Fig in order to complete the quest.
