Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Release and More
Gameplay
One of the most notable changes in Tears of the Kingdom is the expanded world, which now extends into the skies above. Players will guide Link through dungeons suspended high in the clouds, utilizing new abilities powered by his glowing sword arm to traverse both ground and air. This adds a new layer of exploration to the game and promises to be a thrilling experience for players.
Another hallmark of Breath of the Wild, the weapon degradation system, will also make a return in Tears of the Kingdom. Players will once again have access to a variety of weapons, including swords, shields, and bows and arrows, each of which will degrade with use. This system adds an element of strategy to combat, as players must carefully manage their weapons to ensure they don’t break in the heat of battle.
Alongside these returning features, Tears of the Kingdom will also introduce new Sheikah abilities for players to master. These abilities will be powered by Link’s sword arm rather than the Sheikah Slate, adding a new layer of complexity to combat and traversal.
