The Double Cross DMZ mission is a Tier 3 Redacted faction assignment in Warzone 2 Season 3. What Are The Objectives of Double Cross DMZ Mission?
- Kill The Bombmaker.
- Grab his Crossbow.
- Drop the Crossbow in a dead drop.
This mission takes place entirely over Ashika Island. You’ve got to have full armor and enough firepower to fight the Wheelson and the Bombmaker. If you’ve done some previous faction missions in DMZ, you’ve already met the Wheelson, the tiny devil ground drone that slays anything within its radius! First, you must disable this bot and then hack it to open the Tsuki Castle’s doors. The Tsuki Castle is located at the center of Ashika Island, and the Bombmaker is on its top floor.
Remember, this castle is filled with level 3 Shadow Company soldiers, sentry guns, and some tricky guys with riot shields, all waiting to welcome you inside. Not to mention that there will be many mines and claymores around each corner as well. However, if you manage to reach the top floor, there will be a guy with an obvious green lasered gun. Kill him, and swap his dropped Crossbow with one of your weapons.

For the last objective, you must get to one of the game’s dead drops in Ashika Island to finish The Double Cross DMZ mission in Warzone 2. You can spot the locations in the image above, all available to throw a full attachment Crossbow away. After you’ve done this, your mission is complete! However, remember not to store the Crossbow as your third weapon in your backpack and swap it with your primary or secondary gun. You better carry the gun while you want to put it in the dead drop.
Completing the Double Cross DMZ mission rewards you with the Research Center Room Key and 10K worth of XP to progress through Battle Pass and level up in ranks. In your next deployment, you can use the Research Center Room Key on the E5 location of Ashika Island for extra loot and rewards.
