Neither snow nor rain can stop the mail, but a zombie bite just might. Dead Island 2‘s passion for kooky side quests even ropes in the postal service. The “My Mailman Was a Zombie” quest has you tracking down several packages scattered around villas in Bel-Air. Taking a tour of wealthy estates on a sunny day might be a good time in GTA 5 RP, but here it’s a recipe for combat. On the plus side, if you can track down every lost parcel you’ll get an exciting new weapon for your efforts. Here’s how to complete “Follow the Mailman’s Paper Trail” in Dead Island 2.

First Package Location
“My Mailman Was a Zombie” tracks you with finding three packages lost in Bel-Air. Your mission begins when you pick up the clipboard beside the delivery truck, starting this Lost and Found quest. You’ll find the first package outside the “GOAT Pen” villa in southern Bel-Air. The package is to the right of the villa’s main entrance. To trigger the quest’s next step, simply approach and interact with the package. Like the quest for Eddie’s Toolbox, traveling to your destination is a bigger challenge than the flesh-gnawing dead.
Second Package Location
The second package is waiting in front of the locked gate of the villa in west Bel-Air. When you reach the entrance, look to the left of the car to find the package. You should only face light zombie resistance here. The Big Bad is still waiting near the third package.
Third Package Location
You’ll find the third and final package by the first house you entered in Bel-Air at the start of the game. Check around the garage to locate it. As with the other locations, there may be several zombies in the area, so be careful when securing the package. Here’s what you need to do next:
- Defeat Wayne the Mailman
- Pick up the keys that Wayne drops
- Return to the point where you started the quest
- Unlock the box behind the delivery truck to get your weapon
Wayne’s shambling corpse might look like Sunbather, but he shouldn’t put up much of a fight. Follow the mailman’s paper trail and complete “My Mailman Was a Zombie” in Dead Island 2 to receive your reward: the Raven Rifle. There’s nothing bird-brained about this Rare weapon and its precision shots. Maybe the next time an undead mailman flies the coop you can use this feathery firearm to take him down.
