After a buggy launch, Respawn has given timings for its patch notes for Jedi: Survivor for all platforms (seen below). Today will be the PC patch, with one due tomorrow (May 2) for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Across all platforms, performance, crashes, and other issues will be tackled to stabilize the game. This comes after a day-one patch and acknowledgments of technical issues plaguing players.

Console players have a laundry list of things being fixed. Some of the most substantial fixes include areas that have a high rate of crashes, frame rate, and crashes “tied to skipping cinematics.” The lighter issues ranged from enemies in T-pose when going to Photo Mode to Nekko colors not saving.

The Jedi: Survivor patch notes for PC only cite “performance improvements for non-raytraced rendering.” The slew of fixes coming to consoles has already been implemented with this patch for PC.

Respawn releases Jedi: Survivor timings for latest patch notes

Today a patch has become available for the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and tomorrow (5/2) we’ll also be issuing a patch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The release of Respawn’s sequel might give people some nightmarish flashbacks, as Fallen Order also had a buggy launch. While consoles are having a wave of problems, PC players have been most vocal. On release day (April 28), Steam reviews have been abysmal due to the poor performance of yet another AAA game on the platform. While it was in the negative territory, Steam reviews are currently mixed, showing some improvements have been made.

Many more patch notes will be coming for Jedi: Survivor, but the community has found ways to improve their experience. Mods have been developed to help boost performance. For us, we found verifying game files and other ways that could limit your crashes on PC. Also, going into the options to turn off Usage Sharing should boost your FPS.

Beyond technical issues, people who have been able to push past it or have had a positive experience have been loving this latest adventure with Cal Kestis. The Nerd Stash’s official review gave it five stars.
