Pokemon Scarlet and Violet feature a whole new open world that players can explore. In Paldea, you won’t just find unique and mesmerizing pocket monsters but also items and ingredients that boost the powers of these Pokemon. One such item is Magnet, and players will want to have it as early as possible since it provides a massive upgrade for particular Pokemon. It only works on Electric-type Pokemon. Electric types are pretty popular, and players often choose these as their main Pokemon. However, the game never explains how to get Magnet. This guide will show you where to find Magnet in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Only two ways are available to get the Magnet in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The first option is buying it for 3,000 PokeDollars from the Delibird Presents shop. The one that you are looking for is in Cascarrafa (West Province). Although several Delibird Presents shops are scattered throughout the vast Paldea region, we found Magnet at shops in Cascarrafa. You will find one Delibird Presents in the easternmost part of the town. Moreover, there is also one in the northern section of the town.

The second way to get the Magnet in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is to head to the infamous Porto Marinada auctions. A dangerous journey lies ahead of any player who wants to reach this area. You need to get through the Asado Desert. For this, exit Cascarrafa from its northern entrance and follow the path northwest through the sand. This is quite a journey until you reach the other side.

Once you are at Porto Marinada in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you will get the feeling that it is Paldea’s auction hub, bidding for various items, such as Magnet, but also many other items that improve Pokemon in various ways. This can be a problem. No one can guarantee that the Magnet will be one of the items available at the auction. Moreover, if it is a bidding item, you might end up paying more than you would at the Delibirds Presents shop.
