People are finally ripping into Tears of the Kingdom after a long-anticipated wait. Now that you have the game in your hands, you may wonder about the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom full voice cast. A few are returning, taking back their roles from the old game, Breath of the Wild. Others are brand new, taking on the role for the first time. Below, we’ll take a look at each role, who serves it, and if they’ve been in the series before.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Voice Actors

[Updated on September 24, 2024 – Updated links and formatting]

We have a nice list here for you of all the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom full voice cast as we know them so far. The members of the voice cast are:

  • Patricia Summersett as Princess Zelda
  • Kengo Takanash as Link
  • Matthew Mercer as Ganondorf
  • Jamie Mortarello as Sidon
  • Elizabeth Maxwell as Riju
  • Joe Hernandez as Yunobo
  • Cristina Vee as Tulin
  • Sean Chiplock as Teba

Kengo Takanashi as Link

Takanashi’s been a mainstay for the series ever since Breath of the Wild came out. He returns to the role this time, taking Link as the voice for the role in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. He’s the main protagonist, so his presence is pretty important for the series. However important he may be, we doubt he’ll actually have any speaking parts in the game. As usual, he’s not exactly the talking type. While he is an important role, to be sure, he likely won’t have many lines to speak of in the actual script. He’s more there to prove that he has a voice through shouts of battle and such. The talking piece this time around is Zelda, who usually speaks for him.

Patricia Summersett as Princess Zelda

Patricia Summersett is reprising her role as Zelda in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. This has been no big surprise, especially if you’ve seen any of the trailers lately. While she wasn’t the most prominent voice in the series in the game that came before, she certainly is taking the spotlight now. Zelda is a more titular character this time around. Patricia herself has done multiple feats in voice acting lately, such as Ash from Rainbow Six and as a few pilots during Star Wars Squadrons. With the importance of her role, everyone’s excited to see how she’ll deliver during Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Matthew Mercer as Ganondorf

Matt Mercer is a talented voice actor who starred in many titles, both in Japan and the West. From Chrom in Fire Emblem to Cobb in Return To Monkey Island, his range can’t be understated. What we expect from Mercer is nothing short of merciless. His deep tones can really help bring a certain degree of ferociousness back to the game. With Ganon returning in full force, Mercer has his work cut out for him in Tears of the Kingdom, but we have no doubt he’ll deliver.

Elizabeth Maxwell as Riju

Riju has a recurring role, with a returning voice performed by Elizabeth Maxwell. Recent roles you may have seen her in include Hoyoverse’s Honkai Star Rail. Other voices you may recognize by this actress include Winter from RWBY Arrowfell. There are many more examples of her work out there that act as a testament to her skill, but we’re certain that Tears of the Kingdom will make for a fine example.

Jamie Motarello as Sidon

Jamie Motarello returns to voice Sidon again, just as they did in Breath of the Wild. One thing Tears of the Kingdom has going for it is that, despite the years and consoles between one game and the next, the development team has kept the voices consistent. Since the role in Breath of the Wild, Jamie has improved on their voice acting roles and history. They’ve been in other great video games, such as God of War Ragnarok and Octopath Traveler 2. With the work behind them in these great titles, an excellent performance is no doubt sure to follow in this major title.

Sean Chiplock as Teba

Among the entire Zelda Tears of the Kingdom full voice cast, Sean is one of the most experienced, at least in recent history. Sean’s also been a part of Octopath Traveler 2. Teba is expected to return with Sean Chiplock as the voice behind the Rito Elder. Other games he’s been involved with include Final Fantasy 7 and Crisis Core. While not really a new character, their presence is something to be celebrated, and they are another skilled actor to mark on the list.

Christina Vee as Tulin

We’ve only had a glimpse of this character so far, but we now have a full game of Christina Vee to look forward to. She’s been busy as a voice actor in tons of other titles, including Nell from Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp. She brings an energetic life to any character she plays. There’s no doubt she’ll keep her performance going in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
