Some longtime gamers complain about the dumbing down of video games since they became more mainstream. You can argue until the cows come home about how right they are but there are definitely still games for the hardcore crowd and one of those games is Dark Souls III.

Dark Souls III
An easy game to get into…
Dark Souls III
And one with a somewhat steeper learning curve.

While Dark Souls III is more accessible than previous games in the series, it’s still punishingly difficult. Which makes the player who beat the final boss with a level one character (and without dodge rolling, blocking or parrying) all the more impressive;

The clip makes it seem a bit more straightforward than it actually was. According to Streamer TolomeoR himself;

“The run took about 50-60 hours in total, with the three hardest bosses being Soul of Cinder, Nameless and the Twin Princes,”  Adding, “Soul of Cinder alone took a solid ~15 hours of attempts.”

As you can also see from the video, TolomeoR did it without wearing any armour (the white trousers and bare chest aren’t just a character skin). VG247.com also notes that he went a good length of the way through the game before upgrading from the default starting weapon.
