The latest entry in the Zelda franchise is here; we couldn’t be happier. We believe this game will win many awards, including Game of the Year. Everything in it is great. The world-building is fantastic, the combat is fun, the new systems give plenty of room for creativity, and the story is excellent. Yet, for the latter, some people might want to rush it and experience everything the game allows you to do. If you don’t want to watch too much of the story or aren’t interested in it, today we’ll tell you how to skip cutscenes in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

While we don’t recommend doing it, we are aware some people just want to know how to skip cutscenes in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Some aren’t fond of the story or are playing the game for a second time. The good and bad news is that you can and can’t skip cutscenes in the game. What do we mean by it? If you’re watching a cutscene for the first time, let’s say, a boss’ cutscene, you can’t skip it. Yet, you’ll get the option if it is your second time watching it.

You must watch for the button prompts to skip cutscenes in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Usually, they appear on your screen, letting you know a cutscene can be skipped. If you don’t see a button, you can’t skip it yet. While it isn’t completely bad, we’d all like the option to be able to skip them for the first time. Some players might replay the game many times, so watching the same cutscenes repeatedly might be tedious for some. If it is your first time, we recommend watching them all.
