Hotfix 2.8.1 has just launched for Chivalry 2, and now fans can check out the official patch notes and see what’s coming. The latest version is pretty handy and focuses on resolving some of the issues that appeared in the latest content update, Raiding Party. Many changes are included, such as reverting a change to constructible placement limitations having an effect on multiple maps. Patch Notes for the Chivalry 2 Hotfix 2.8.1 Update
Before announcing the latest Chivalry 2 update, a community manager of the game stated, ”Good morrow, knights! As of this morning at 10 am ET, we have released a minor hotfix (2.8.1) aimed at resolving some of the issues that appeared in our latest content update, Raiding Party. Below is a list of fixes included in this hotfix.” Here are the official patch notes via Torn Banner Studios:
General
- Reverted a change to constructible placement limitations having an effect on multiple maps
- Addressed further admin permission exploits
- Fixed an issue where vote kicks would not commit reliably
- Fixed an issue where XP and Campaign progression would not save after the match conclusion
Crossparties
- Localization fix for missing text in regards to unfriending Native Platform friends
- Fixed an issue where the party leader would fail to join a match, but other party members would be able to join said match
- Fixed an issue where accepting two-party invites in quick succession would cause a crash
