Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has various bosses that you can find while exploring the world. And often, you will find Talus, which can have several variations, such as Battle Talus or Stone Talus. But there is also a rarer version called Igneo Talus. You can find it during The Death Caldera Crystal quest, which is needed to unlock Momosik Shrine.

Shrine is located on the east side of Death Mountain. And from there, you need to follow the green beam to get to Igneo Talus in Tears of the Kingdom. It’s also worth noting that you’ll need food or armor that gives you heat resistance.

So, to defeat Igneo Talus in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you need to attack the green crystal on its “head.” Please note that other such bosses in the world, have the black crystal black. Follow these simple tips, and you will easily defeat it:

  • Use the Ice Fruit to cool down Igneo Talus and make it fall.
  • Climb the boss and attack the crystal with your strongest weapon.
  • When the boss gets up, jump off it and repeat all the previous steps. Be careful not to get hit by its attacks, as they can deal quite a lot of damage to you.
  • The boss will drop a lot of gems after death. It will also drop the Heart of Igneo Talus, which you can Fuse with your weapon.
