The Zakusu Shrine is one of the most well-hidden challenges in the game. Even your Shrine of Light Sensor won’t help you find it before you complete a certain quest. So head to Mount Lanayru, and not far from Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower, you will find an NPC named Nazbi.

Talk to him to start The High Spring and Light Rings quest. Then use the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower to fly to the skies. Fly to the southern island with water in the shape of a half-ring.

On the island, you will wind green glyphs that you may have seen at the entrances to other Shrines. Interact with it and then surf the shield from the slide. After that, you will need to fall to Mount Lanayru and follow the green light. On the mountain, you need to use the surf shield again to get through the green rings before the time runs out. It will complete The High Spring and Light Rings quest and unlock the Zakusu Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.

As the name suggests, Proving Grounds: Ascension is another challenge where all of your gear will be taken from you. And you can only use simple wooden weapons. But even with them, you can have fun in this Shrine.

  • The Shrine has several levels, and to get higher, you can use the Ascend ability or the Recall on the platform at the beginning of the Shrine.
  • We recommend that you immediately climb higher to get Fire Fruits and also find some Flame Emitters. Attach this device to your shield, and you will burn all your enemies.
  • After you destroy all the Constructs at the top, go down to deal with the rest.
  • When you defeat the last enemy, the door above will open, and you can take the Soldier IV Spear from the Treasure Chest and get the Light of Blessing.

That’s all you need to know about how to complete Zakusu Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Finding this Shrine is quite challenging, so follow our tips to get to him. In the meantime, take a look at our guide on how to get Portable Pot devices.
