Between all of the Zonai Devices, you will grab in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, there are some you might not expect. Sure, you can expect to have some transportation and offensive tools, but you probably have not expected to see a water dispenser. Here is where you can get Hydrant Zonai Devices in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Where To Get Hydrants in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Like other Zonai Devices in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, the best way to get Hydrants is by purchasing them from Device Dispensers. These machines are found on sky islands and can be activated by dropping Zonai Charges in. It will then drop a bunch of capsules for you to add to your inventory and pull out whenever you want.

The specific Device Dispenser we go to for Hydrants is on the northern Valor Island within the South Lanayru Sky Archipelago. It is a little northeast of the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower. This is the lower elevation part of these sky islands near the Sihajog Shrine. The one near the Mayanas Shrine does not have Hydrants in it.

After you have a Hydrant, you can drop it out of your inventory to use it. When struck, it will dispense water for as long as you have a charge. This can be used to clear away the sludge that slows you down around Zora’s Domain. Of course, you can also use it to put a fire out.

In all honesty, the Hydrant will probably be one of your lesser-used Zonai Devices in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. That said, it is still a good idea to always have at least one in your inventory so you can go to it if you ever need it.
