Bane of the Shadowblade is a V Blood Boos added to V Rising with the Gloomrot update. Killing this boss grants the Veil of Bones and Human Form abilities, as well as the Small Coin Purse and Slashers recipes. This boss is a Level 47 V Blood Boss, just like Maja the Dark Savant. This new V Blood Boss is much harder to find than other bosses because Bane of the Shadowblade doesn’t have a fixed location, but rather patrols between certain areas. But with the help of your cool new Vampire Horse, you’ll find out where and how to find Bane the Shadowblade very easily in this guide.

Bane the Shadowblade’s location is Dunley Farmlands, but he does not stay in a specific place. He patrols between roads and to find him you will need to use your V Blood Tracking skill. The most important thing to look out for when searching for this boss is the appearance of Bane the Shadowblade.

When this walks on the roads in the form of a hooded human being and he doesn’t have a nametag on him. He looks like the skin that skeletons use when disguised in V Rising. Therefore, if you see something with a hood and no name tag while looking for this boss he might be Bane the Shadowblade. The only way to find out is to go over there and hit him.

How to Defeat Bane the Shadowblade

  • Bane can summon minions that deal ranged damage, you should eliminate them before they pile up too much.
  • Bane the Shadowblade can dodge your attacks by dashing, and when he does so, his next attacks also deal more damage.
  • Since it is a very agile boss, it will be much more difficult to enter ranged-only combat. Therefore, balance both ranged and close encounters well.
  • When you approach Bane, he uses a spinning blade skill with area damage. Be careful not to caught by that.

So now you know how to defeat Bane the Shadowblades. Don’t overlook the great abilities this boss gives you, such as Human Form and Veil of Bones, which are extremely useful.
